IGP Narayanadatta Poudel will hold the command of the armed police for 22 months

Kathmandu. The government has decided to promote Narayanadatta Paudel as the 13th IGP of Armed Police Force, Nepal. The Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to promote Additional Inspector General AIG Paudel to IGP Armed Police Chief.

IGP Paudel will hold the command of the armed police for 22 months. According to the existing Armed Police Regulations, he will retire on 18 Chait 2084 due to 30 years of service. The current IGP Raju Aryal is retiring from Baisakh 18 after completing his 4-year term as IGP. Aryal took over the command of the Armed Forces from 19th Baisakh 2079.
