Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" has warned that if the people are not alert and aware, a big crisis may arise in the country again. He made this claim at the unity message meeting held in Pokhara on Sunday. Prachanda said, 'If the people do not become aware, if they do not strengthen the sense of nationalism, the country may face crisis again.'

He questioned what the people could achieve from the 'two-thirds' of the UML and the Congress and also commented that the country is in crisis because of the Congress-UML. Prachanda said, 'We have seen the nation almost collapse. When we were in government, we tried to fight against corruption, but we were removed. There was not enough power to fight for corruption and national independence.

Prachanda clarified that the launched 'Ekta Abhiyan' is not only for the purpose of winning the election but also for the defense of the nation, preservation of independence and building the foundation for prosperity. He said, 'We will win the election. But the national unity of the people is mandatory to save the nation.
