If the election cannot be held at the specified time, the justification of the government will be: Barshaman Pun
Kathmandu. The leader of the Nepali Communist Party, Barshaman Pun, has said that if the election cannot be held on February 21, the legitimacy of the current government will end. At the Darpan Publicization Program of the Hotel Workers' Movement held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, leader Pun said that the current government has been formed with the mandate to hold elections within 6 months, and said that if the elections are not held on February 21, the purpose of the government will end.
He said that the present government does not even have permission to postpone the scheduled elections. Pun claimed that since the current government was formed with the consent of political parties by going beyond the constitution, the constitution will be further distorted by shifting the date of the election. He said that in the 10-point agreement between the government and Genji, some things are good and some things are beyond the mandate of the government.
