Kathmandu. Deputy Chairman of the National Independent Party Dr. Swarnim Wagle has expressed his commitment to stay close to the people and do people-centered work. In the meeting with the voters organized today in Bhanu Municipality-5 Nagangini, Tanahun, he said that he has entered the election with a plan to work for public interest.
Stating that he is working close to the people after winning the by-election, Wagle asked him not to look at his stay in Kathmandu from a different point of view as the work of a federal parliamentarian has to make laws and rules. We did not have a government at the federal, state and local levels, so we could not do anything. The main job of federal parliamentarians is to make laws. Even though I live in the capital for work, public interest is my first priority, said Dr. Wagle. He promised to try to fulfill the aspirations of the people in accordance with the upcoming elections and the party's program.
