I am in favor of party unity, I will continue until a solution is found: Dr. Shekhar Koirala
Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that he is constantly raising his voice in favor of party unity. While releasing a video message on the occasion of the opening of the special convention, he made it clear that he was aware that the party should not be divided. He reiterated his stance not to proceed with anger and impatience in the campaign of party transformation. He also said that he is not infatuated with personal position and status.
He said, 'I understood that my friends disagreed with some of my styles. However, I do not want to proceed with anger and impatience in the transformation campaign of Congress. I want to make it clear here that I have no personal ambitions. I was never attracted by the greed of becoming a minister or chief minister in the past. Such opportunities came but I did not show interest. In the same way, I am not attracted to being the chairman or the prime minister.
Dr. Koirala said that he accepted his family's education as a philosophy of life. He says that based on this philosophy, he is raising a calm voice in favor of the overall unity of the party.
