Parsa. The Parsa District Court has sent Prashant Kumar Gupta, resident of Birganj Mahanagar-1, who deals through hundi in an organized manner, to prison pending trial in the money laundering case. Hari Bahadur Basnet, Spokesperson of the District Police Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hari Bahadur Basnet informed that the Parsa District Court has ordered that Gupta, who deals through hundi in an organized manner, will be sent to prison for preliminary investigation.

"The Parsa police arrested Gupta who was involved in the hundi transaction and started the investigation on 17th of December", he said.

Parsa Police has claimed Rs.1 billion 79 crore 21 lakh 15 thousand 800 Bigo from the arrested defendant Gupta. In the same way, it is said that the total number of 2 billion 41 crore 78 lakh 23 thousand 378 has been maintained. The police seized Rs 33 lakh 59 thousand 255 from Gupta.
