20 lakh 39 thousand revenue collection in traffic operations

Kathmandu. In 24 hours, 2,200 motorists have been prosecuted for violating traffic rules. From this, a revenue of Rs 20 lakh 39 thousand has been deposited in the state treasury.   According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 168 people were punished for drinking alcohol, 155 people who did 'ride sharing' against the rules, 137 people who violated the signal lights and 152 people who were speeding. 

    Likewise, 102 people who did not follow the 'lane' discipline, 178 who honked in prohibited areas, 123 who parked vehicles on the road, 113 who drove on one-way roads and 172 people who did not follow other traffic rules were punished.
