Home Minister Omprakash Aryal's 100 days: From Genji relief to election preparations

Kathmandu. It has been 100 days since Home Minister Omprakash Aryal, who took over the leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the sensitive political situation after the Genji movement on August 23 and 24, took charge. During this period, the Ministry of Home Affairs has done significant work in Zenji movement management, relief, peace and security, good governance, election preparation and improving service delivery.
Genji movement: Government initiative in relief and respect
42 good governance warriors and 3 immortal policemen who lost their lives in the Genji movement have been declared martyrs and a relief of Rs 1.5 million has been distributed to the families of the deceased. 737 people who were injured in the movement have been provided with injured identity cards and the decision to provide immediate relief, incidental expenses and monthly livelihood allowance to the injured has been implemented. The government has decided to celebrate 'Jenji Martyrs' Day' every year on August 23, and a proposal has been made to establish a memorial to Genji Martyrs in front of Parliament House.
