Home Minister Gurung suddenly in Biratnagar
Biratnagar. Home Minister Sudan Gurung has suddenly arrived in Biratnagar on Saturday to monitor the security situation in the border area and monitoring the incidents. Minister Gurung disembarked at Biratnagar Airport in the guise of a tourist without any official program on Saturday morning at 11:07 a.m. from Buddha Air.
After receiving the information that the Home Minister suddenly flew to Biratnagar from Kathmandu, the high officials of the local security agencies rushed to the airport for reception and security management. As there was no advance notice of Minister Gurung's arrival, there was chaos within the security apparatus for a while.
According to the chief district officer of Morang, CDI Yuvraj Kattel, after arriving in Biratnagar, Home Minister Gurung is holding a briefing with the heads of all security agencies about the security situation, patrolling and challenges in the border area. After the briefing, Home Minister Gurung has a program to visit Nepal (India) border Jogwani pass and nearby border areas.
