Home Minister Gurung draws attention to the incident of rhinoceros dying due to contaminated water in Nawalpur

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung was welcomed in Nawalpur by a team including the chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party 9 RSVP Nawalpur Narishwar Lamichhane. During the meeting, the local team brought to the attention of Home Minister Gurung that wild animals including rhinoceros were found dead due to contaminated water in Nawalpur area.
The team including Nawalpur MP Rajan Gautam has also submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Home Minister. According to the locals, wildlife has been affected by the contaminated waste water coming out of various industries mixing in the river. It has been complained that several animals were found dead due to consumption of the same water.
