High-level meeting in Baluwatar: Discuss potential challenges

Kathmandu. A high-level meeting was held in Baluwatar under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sushila Karki. Home Minister Omprakash Aryal, Home Secretary Rameshwar Dangal and heads of all four security agencies participated in the meeting. In the meeting that lasted for about two hours, the security chiefs informed about the situation in the country and gave information about possible challenges and risks. After the meeting, Home Minister Aryal spoke to reporters and said that the government has made a careful assessment of the current situation. According to him, based on information that various groups are preparing for demonstrations, the government has become alert.
Everyone is free to make political demands in a responsible manner. However, any activity that spreads unrest or chaos will not be tolerated, said Home Minister Aryal.
He mentioned that the government is ready to resolve political issues through dialogue and asked the related parties to be restrained and responsible.
