Heavy snowfall accompanied by rain in Mustang, Humla and Bajura

Mustang. There has been heavy snowfall in various parts of the district since Tuesday night. The hills here are completely covered. It has also rained in most places. Kagbeni-Korla road has been blocked due to heavy snowfall. More than two feet of snow has accumulated in some places. Roshan Thakali, head of agriculture branch of Gharpazhong Rural Municipality, said that with the fall of snow, there is hope of harvesting crops including apple, lice, papar, barley and potato.
