Has not decided to be a candidate in the election: Minister Kharel
Kathmandu. Communication and Information Technology Minister Jagdish Kharel has made it clear that he has not made any decision about whether or not to run for the election. Minister Kharel has said that no decision has been taken on the matter so far while there is a discussion of candidacy from the National Independent Party. Speaking at a program organized by Nepal Journalist Federation Bhaktapur branch on Wednesday, he also said that he has not joined any political party.
He said, "I want to make it clear to the people here today that I have not yet decided anything whether I will stand in the election or not." The second thing I want to make clear to you here is that I have not joined or gone to any party till date. There was no negotiation or discussion.
He mentioned that he did not say anything about coming or going. I didn't even say I would come. I didn't say go. I didn't say anything. And now my whole focus is on conducting elections, he said. He expressed his displeasure by saying that there were different reports in the media about the fact that he did not discuss with any party for the election.
