Good governance and elections are the main agenda of the government: Prime Minister Karki
Lalitpur. Prime Minister Shusila Karki has said that Lalitpur Metropolitan City is not only older in terms of age, but also in terms of art and heritage.
Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the 107th Foundation Day of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, Prime Minister Karki mentioned that Patan itself is a living museum of Nepali civilization and beauty.
She said that one can feel that the divinity is smiling in every architectural heritage here and said that the heritage left by the ancestors is a living expression of faith, sadhana and culture. He said that faith and belief are mixed in every brick, stone and metal particle of the temples, Viharas and Dhungedhara here.
She said, "Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality is not only old by age. It is also older in artistic heritage. Especially Patan itself is a living museum of Nepali civilization and beauty. The divinity smiles on every architectural heritage here. The heritages left behind by the ancestors here are vivid expressions of faith, sadhana and culture. Faith and belief are mixed in every brick, stone and metal particle of the temples, viharas, dhungedhara here.
Likewise, Prime Minister Karki mentioned that a new situation has emerged in the country after the Gen-G youth movement that took place on August 23 and 24, and informed that the government is currently promoting good governance and elections as two major agendas. She said that the preparatory work has progressed rapidly with the goal of holding the House of Representatives elections scheduled for February 21.
