Kathmandu. Ghodejatra festival is being celebrated today. Every year on the day of Chaitra Krishna Aunsi, a horse procession is celebrated in Kathmandu Valley. The Nepali Army will perform horsemanship, motorcycle sports, physical exercise, martial arts and other things in Tundikhel today. It is believed that the Ghode Jatra is celebrated as a tradition of trampling the children of the city after the demon named Gurumapa, who lives in the east-south direction of Tundikhel, tramples the children of the city.
