Ganeshman Singh's 111th birth anniversary is being celebrated today
Kathmandu. The 111th birth anniversary of Ganeshman Singh, the supreme commander of the 2046 Jan Andolan, is being celebrated today by organizing various programs.
Singh, who is an example of sacrifice and courage in Nepali politics, succeeded in becoming the center of everyone's loyalty. After the success of the people's movement of 2046, in the proposal of the then king Birendra to become the prime minister, he presented a high example of sacrifice in Nepali politics by putting forward his counterpart leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai.
Born on November 24, 1972 in Kshetrapati, Kathmandu, Neta Singh passed away on October 2, 2054. Singh, who was born in an aristocratic family in Kathmandu, became a member of Praja Parishad, the first political party of Nepal established in 1997, and became active in the campaign to remove the Rana regime. After starting a campaign to end the Rana regime, he and other leaders were jailed by the then government. Before the year 2007, Ganeshman, who managed to escape from Bhadragol jail, was active in the then Rana removal movement before his migration. He developed a political relationship with another leader, BP Koirala, who had escaped from prison and reached India. Ganeshman has a remarkable role in giving life-long combative leadership to the Nepali National Congress established in 2003 with some helpers.
