Former minister Ramveer left UML, chose Congress

Kathmandu. CPN-UML leader former minister Ramvir Manandhar has joined the Nepali Congress. In a program held at the National Assembly House on Thursday, Speaker Gagan Thapa conferred Congress membership on Manandhar. He is known as an influential leader in Kathmandu region number 7. 

On that occasion, Thapa mentioned that the Congress is committed to building democratic values, good governance and responsible governance system and expressed the belief that the party will become stronger with the participation of experienced leaders.  Manandhar, who is also a former minister, is an MP elected in 2074. Earlier in the year 2049, he held the responsibility of ward chairman of ward number 16. Manandhar, who has experience from the local level to the federal parliament, joined the Congress.
