Flood in Dolpa with Ledo, one woman dead, four injured

Dolpa. District Dolpa Jagdulla rural municipality-5 Gari village after incessant rains, a woman was killed and four others were injured when the Dhula river was flooded with mud. When the flood entered the houses at around 3 o'clock on Sunday morning, according to local estimates, 55-56-year-old Ananda Vick was found sleeping inside the house. With the help of the police and local residents, he was rescued and died while being taken to the health post in Jhankot for treatment.

60-year-old Jas Vick, 44-year-old Reuli Vick, 15-year-old Niruta Vick and 13-year-old Sita Vick were injured in the incident. Reuli Vick among the injured has been referred for further treatment as his condition is serious, while the other three have been discharged after treatment. Relatives of the deceased, 32-year-old Junmaya Vick and 29-year-old Durge Vick, are undergoing treatment at the health post after they fainted due to the stress of the incident.
