Emphasis on Nepal-China economic cooperation

Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwar Khanal emphasized on Nepal-China economic cooperation and investment growth. In a workshop on Nepal-China economic cooperation and investment held here on Tuesday, Minister Khanal urged Chinese investors to mobilize capital in Nepal with confidence as Nepal has been implementing various economic reform programs to bring in foreign investment.

The finance minister said that since Nepal has created a favorable environment for bringing in foreign investment, it is inevitable for Nepal and China to identify various areas of economic cooperation and cooperate. China's ambassador to Nepal Chhan Song said that Chinese investors are increasing their presence in Nepal. Discussing the multifaceted relationship between the two countries, he said that Chinese investors are willing to cooperate with Nepal in the fields of industrial development, energy, and infrastructure construction. He also expressed his commitment to help Nepal as much as possible from his country.
