Electricity of Bheri-Babai project will be connected to national transmission: 132 kV transmission line is being constructed
Surkhet. The process of connecting the electricity produced by the national pride Bheri-Babai diversion multi-purpose project to the national transmission system has started.
In order to connect the electricity produced by the project to the Kohalpur Surkhet 132 KV transmission line built by the Nepal Electricity Authority, a new transmission line of 1.7 km length and 132 KV capacity is going to be constructed.
About 46.8 megawatts of electricity will be generated from this project, which has the main goal of providing irrigation facilities to nearly 51,000 hectares of land by returning the water of the Bheri river to Babai.
