Kathmandu. The Election Commission has said that it is studying the documents of 15 parties that have applied for the registration of new political parties for approval.
According to the commission, 10 parties applied for party registration before the announcement of the House of Representatives election on February 21 and five after the announcement, and the documents of those parties are under consideration.

Generally, although an application for party registration can always be submitted to the commission, after the Genji movement, a new government was formed, the House of Representatives was dissolved and elections were announced, but the party registration process has been seen with the participation of the young generation as well. Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, spokesperson of the Commission informed that the application will be accepted for those who reach the process.

After the announcement of the election, Shram Sanskriti Party, led by Harak Sangpang, the head of Dharan sub-metropolitan city, submitted an application for party registration on October 7. Also, the Nepal Liberal Party led by Gopilal Neupane submitted an application for registration on October 2 with the 'Sikka' symbol.

The Nepal Citizens Party led by advocate Dr. Surendra Bhandari submitted an application for registration to the Commission on October 9. On October 30th, Dineshraj Prasai-led Dynamic Democratic Party submitted an application for registration with the demand of 'Jyoti' election symbol.

The National Genji Party Nepal led by Hira Prasad Soti submitted an application to the Commission on October 2 for party registration. This party has asked for the 'Cross Khukri' election symbol.

Bhattarai, the spokesperson of the commission, said that in the event that no one has received the name of the party and the 'Cross Khukri' election sign for opening the age group, the commission will take a decision based on the existing rules and practices.
