Surkhet. Home Minister Omprakash Aryal has said that election is a good practice of democracy and an indispensable system. Minister Aryal said this while addressing the opening session of the state-level security seminar jointly organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Karnali Provincial Government at Birendra Nagar in Surkhet on Wednesday.

He said, 'without elections, it will be difficult to maintain good governance and the country may be pushed towards further instability, so if you want good governance, there is no alternative to elections.'

Minister Aryal opined that the recent Genji public movement has made the current youth generation mainstream in youth politics and even then they cannot be bypassed.
