Election atmosphere has been created by political dialogue: Minister of Communications Kharel

Kathmandu. The government has initiated phased negotiations and dialogue with political parties to create an environment for elections. The current government formed on the foundation of the Genji movement has taken initiatives to complete the elections announced on February 21 and to promote good governance and control corruption in the country. For this purpose, the government organized an all-party meeting on Tuesday and promoted dialogue between the government and the parties.

An all-party meeting was held on Tuesday at the call of Prime Minister Sushila Karki. In a meeting that lasted for about five hours at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, a positive discussion was held between the government and political parties to create an environment for the election and complete the election within the stipulated time.

Informing the media about the discussion held in the all-party meeting, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel said that the atmosphere of the election has been created by the dialogue between the political parties. He said, "The government is excited by the discussion between the government and the political parties today." This has created an election environment. All stakeholders, including political parties and the public, have been equally responsible for creating the atmosphere of the election.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Sushila Karki said that the government is committed to hold elections in a fear-free environment at the appointed time. He mentioned that all the ministers, security agencies and others are working round the clock for this purpose, according to his secretariat.
