Effect of western wind: Chance of light rain and snowfall in high Himalayan region

Kathmandu. At present, there is a general influence of western wind in the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. Due to its effect, there is partial cloudiness in the whole country and there is a possibility of fog and fog in some places of Terai till today afternoon. It is said that there will be a general change in the highlands and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions, while there will be a partial change in the rest of the hilly and Himalayan regions.
In the Terai area, the weather will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of snowfall with light rain at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. It will be cold in some places of Terai tonight. In addition, in the highlands and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali regions, there may be light rain and snowfall in one or two places, according to the Weather Forecast Division.
