At present, there is a possibility of rain and weather change in various places due to the influence of monsoon winds across the country, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division. According to the department, the low pressure line of monsoon is currently located at Sardar place.

At present, there is generally a change in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces as well as Koshi and Bagmati provinces, while there is a partial change in the terai areas of Madhes and Koshi provinces.

There is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning in some parts of the mountainous and hilly areas of the country. Similarly, possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning has been indicated in some places of Terai of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and few places of Terai of Madhes and Sudurpaschim provinces.
