Kathmandu. According to the Weather Forecast Division, the weather will be clear throughout the country during the Tihar period. Publishing the Tihar special weather bulletin, the Meteorological Department has informed about the possible weather conditions from November 30 to November 6 of Lakshmi Puja.

How is the weather for four days? 

Although there is no significant weather system effect during Tihar this year, due to the general effect of western wind, there is a possibility of partial to normal showers in the hilly parts of the country and there is a possibility of light rain and snow in a couple of places in the hilly areas.

Kartik 3 Lakshmi Puja: The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly parts of the country and mostly clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of torrential rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of Kosi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions.

Kartik 4 Aunsi: Partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and the weather will remain mainly clear in the remaining areas. There is a possibility of torrential rain at a couple of places in the hilly areas of Kosi, Gandaki and Karnali regions. 

Kartik 5 Govardhan Puja: The weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in hilly areas of the country and mainly clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain and snow in a couple of places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Kosi and Karnali.

Kartik 6 Bhaitika: The weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the rest of the hilly areas of the country including Kosi and Madhes and the rest of the area will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of all provinces and light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas.
