Chitwan. It has been decided to bury the 229 bodies that could not be identified out of the 233 dead bodies that were washed away by the river in various places of Chitwan due to the Rasuwa flood.

According to District Administration Office, Chitwan, only 4 of the dead bodies collected have been identified and the rest of the dead bodies have started rotting rapidly, so this binding decision has been taken keeping in mind the high risk of epidemic spreading in the district.

Based on the warnings of health experts that the corpses and remains of corpses collected from holding centers, health institutions and riverside areas start to rot, infections and epidemics may spread, and they are going to be managed safely to prevent further decomposition.
