Deuba appears in public for the first time since the Genji movement

28 Asoj, Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has appeared in public for the first time since the Genji movement on 24 Bhadra.

Deuba attended the meeting of the central committee held at the party's central office, Sanepa, on Tuesday.

Deuba, who was beaten up by protesters in Budhanilkantha, had not been seen in public before today.

The Nepali Army had rescued him and his wife Arju Rana Deuba from Budhanilkantha. Despite repeated attempts to rescue them by Nepali Army helicopter, it was impossible.

Later, the army took them to the hospital by land.

It was not disclosed where Deuba was treated, citing security reasons. Deuba, who suffered a serious head injury, received 12 stitches, Congress leader Min Bishwakarma informed this through a press conference.
