Designated approval authority for code of conduct approval

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has appointed an approval officer to monitor the election code of conduct. According to Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, the Assistant Chief District Officer has been appointed to make the implementation of the code of conduct effective at the district level. According to the commission, the assistant chief district officer has been given the responsibility of other matters other than financial.
According to the commission, the chief fund controller, the fund controller has been appointed as the election code of conduct monitoring officer with the responsibility of performing various tasks related to financial matters.
The election of the House of Representatives is scheduled for February 21. The Election Code of Conduct, 2082 has been implemented by the Commission to conduct the election in a clean, fair, transparent and reliable manner. The code of conduct has been implemented since January 4th.
