Janakpurdham. Locals have protested saying that unethical activities are taking place in Janakpur guesthouses. Locals have demanded legal action against guesthouses and hotels that engage in unethical activities. Janak Nagar Society Piradi has started a public awareness campaign against sexual activities.
Locals have alleged that sex trade has been going on for a long time in some hotels and guesthouses at Piradi Chowk in Janakpur. Locals are demanding that the flesh trade be stopped, saying that it has a negative impact on the society and that the settlement is becoming infamous. They also raised slogans against the Dhanusha police administration for condoning immoral sexual activities for commission.
