Demand immediate dismissal of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung

Kathmandu. Genji Movement Nepal has drawn the attention of the government, demanding immediate action on the serious allegations leveled against Home Minister Sudhan Gurung. In the press statement issued by the organization on Sunday, Minister Gurung has been dismissed from his post and demanded to be arrested and a fair investigation to be carried out.
In the statement, it is said that it will clearly create a conflict of interest, stating that it is not possible to investigate while sitting in office. According to the organization, it is against the basic ethics and legal principles that an impartial investigation cannot be conducted against him while he is in the position of minister.
Similarly, in the statement, it is mentioned that the cabinet formation should be taken as a serious political and moral decision targeting the government led by Balen Shah. Describing the trend of appointing ministers under Hachuwa and then removing them as unacceptable, it has been emphasized that the responsible leadership should demonstrate maturity, foresight and accountability.
