Death of Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei, 40 days of mourning announced

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claimed that his leader is safe and sound during a conversation with NBC News.
But a presenter on Iran's state television reported that Supreme Leader Khamenei had died and 40 days of mourning had been announced, according to the BBC.
According to Al Jazeera, Iran's Fars News Agency also reported that Supreme Leader Khamenei was killed on Saturday. According to the news, Khamenei was killed early Saturday morning while "fulfilling his assigned duties" in his office. According to Fars News Agency, the government has also announced 40 days of mourning and seven days of public holidays. Iran's Tasnim News Agency has also confirmed Khamenei's death.
