Crores of revenue collected from Punhil and Tatopani Kund, internal income of Annapurna strengthened

Myagdi. Annapurna Rural Municipality of Myagdi has made its major tourist spots the main source of internal income. In the current financial year 2083 and 084, the rural municipality has earned 13 million 66 thousand 555 rupees by contracting for the collection of entrance fees in tourist places and the operation of tea shops.

Chief Administrative Officer Kapil Pandey informed that the income contract agreement for Punhil, Paudwar, Ratopani Kund and Rupse Jharna within the rural municipality has been signed. According to him, the proposal for the contract called for collecting the entrance fee to Bhurung Tatopani Kund and maintaining a minimum of Rs 950,000 for the operation of Chamenagriha is currently in the evaluation stage.

Ghodepani's Sunny Hotel has signed a contract for 71 lakh 500 rupees for the entry fee and tea shop operation at Punhill located in Annapurna Rural Municipality 6. Similarly, a contract has been signed for the collection of entry fee of Pauddhar Tatopani Kund for Rs 50 lakh 10 thousand, Ratopani Kund for Rs 4 lakh 500 and Rupse Waterfall for Rs 5 lakh 55 thousand 555.
