Main News Image

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has decided to end the power collaboration with CPN-UML in all seven provinces. The Congress has come to the conclusion that it will break the equation with the UML and move towards building a new political alliance.

A Congress official has confirmed that a conclusion has been reached to end the current collaboration with the UML and said that a new political option is being discussed. "We have come to the conclusion of breaking the alliance with UML, the course has moved forward in that direction," said the official.

It is said that the main reason for breaking the collaboration is the view of the Zenji movement and the growing dissatisfaction with the working style of the UML in the provincial government. With this decision, the Congress has prepared to recall its ministers from the state governments in which the UML participated.
