Kathmandu. It has been said that there is no truth in the rumors that unauthorized persons have increased access to the electoral roll of the Election Commission. The Commission has given a clarification as the debate on the increased access of unauthorized people to social media has started. The commission issued a statement on Monday and informed that attention has been drawn to the claims related to the commission on various media and social networks.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the commission, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, it is said, "The commission is committed to the complete security of information that should be kept confidential according to the laws of citizens. For this, information technology experts affiliated with the commission are working to continuously monitor the information system, analyze the security risks and adopt all measures to protect the information system.

The PDF file taken from the Election Commission's information system is said to be the information legally provided to the Election Office and political parties for the election.
