Commission in correspondence with Oli and the author

Kathmandu. The commission formed to investigate the repression of 23 August and the arson of 24 August during the Genji movement has prepared to call the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Home Minister Ramesh Ukhar for statements. According to Vigyanraj Sharma, member and spokesperson of the Commission, after the statement of some security officers and civil servants, a letter will be sent to Oli and the writer. Arrangements are being made to give at least one week's time to the letter.
Currently, the Commission is taking the statement of the then Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Chhabiraj Rizal, while some parts of the statement of the then IGP and AIG Dan Bahadur Karki are left. After these statements, the commission will prepare a letter. He has said that he is ready to appear in the Commission any day and give his statement if he is given a prior notice for the statement of the writer.
