Chilime hot water bather's knee

Rasuwa The number of devotees who bathe in Chilime hot water in Rasuwa has started to increase again recently. Bathing in hot water is believed to cure various diseases. The devastating earthquake of Baisakh 12, 2072 affected Tatopani Kund located in Amachhodingmo rural municipality-5.

After the hot water came out again in the pool, the number of devotees taking bath started to increase. Singi Tamang, a local resident, informed that 10-15 people come daily to take a hot water bath. According to him, after taking a bath in the hot water stream, body diseases are cured. About two decades ago, the tourism program for rural poverty alleviation helped in the construction of a river and a pond at that place.

According to 64-year-old Lalimaya Tamang, a resident of Nuwakot Meghang Rural Municipality-2 Bungtang, she also claimed that various diseases of her body were cured after taking a hot water bath. Ramprasad Paudel and Devaki Paudel, residents of Battar in Vidur municipality, said that hot water is very useful for curing physical diseases. Devotees from other districts are also attracted to take bath at that place.
