Child injured while playing with pistol found in temple
Kathmandu. A 15-year-old boy Akash Ram was injured today in Malangwa of Sarlahi. The child's right hand is injured.
The incident took place in Malangwa-4, Dhaka Border area. According to the police, the boy was injured while playing with a pistol carelessly. A pistol was found wrapped in a red cloth inside the under-construction Hanuman temple. The boy thought that the pistol was fake when he fired it.
Police said the injured child is being treated at Malangwa Provincial Hospital and is currently out of danger. Earlier last Sunday, Sub-Engineer Pramod Kumar Yadav working in Physical Infrastructure Development Office Sarlahi in Malangwa was shot dead. The police are investigating the suspicion that the weapon used in today's incident may be related to the murder incident.
