Kathmandu. According to the weather forecast division, the influence of monsoon air is currently affecting the country. At present, the Monsoon low pressure line is slightly above Sardar place in the west around the Terai region of Nepal and around Sardar place in the east.

As a result of which most of the country is cloudy. A few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini states and one or two places in Karnali state are receiving light to moderate rains.

Mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a chance of moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers at many places in the mountainous areas of the country. There is a possibility of moderate to moderate rain with lightning in most of the hilly areas of the country and many places in the plains.  There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in hilly and terai areas of Koshi, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in terai of Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. There is also a possibility of very heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and the hilly and Terai areas of the Far West region.
