Chance of snowfall in high hills and Himalayan areas and heavy rain in some places of hill-terai

Kathmandu. At present, the direct impact of monsoon air has been felt across the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, since the low pressure line of monsoon is located to the north of Sardar, most of the parts of the country are experiencing seasonal changes and rainfall.

It is now partially to mostly replaced across the country. Light to moderate rain is occurring at few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. There will be general change across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning in some places in the mountainous areas of the country as well as in many places in the hilly areas.

Similarly, there is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in many places of Terai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, few places of Terai region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and few places of Madhesh province.
