Chance of rain with thunder and lightning in different parts of the country, extreme heat in Terai
Kathmandu. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, there is a chance of partly cloudy to rainy weather in different parts of the country today. It is expected that it will be cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country including Koshi region today afternoon, while it will be partly cloudy in the Terai areas.
Similarly, tere is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as in few places of Madhes, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
