Chance of rain and snowfall in Himalayan and hilly areas, heat will increase in Terai
Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial effect of the western low pressure line in the upper atmosphere of Nepal as well as the local and easterly winds.
Due to this weather system, the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country as well as the Terai region of Gandaki and Bagmati provinces are generally cloudy, while the weather is mainly clear in other Terai regions.
According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, moderate rainfall is currently occurring in a couple of places in Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
