Chance of rain and snowfall in hilly and mountainous areas

Kathmandu. According to the Weather Forecast Division, the weather will be partly to normal in different parts of the country today. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall, especially in hilly and mountainous areas. In the afternoon, it is expected that there will be a general change in the hilly and Himalayan areas including Koshi province, while it is expected that there will be a partial change in other areas.
There is a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning in some places of hilly and Himalayan region including Koshi region. It is said that similar weather activity can be seen in few places of Madhesh province.
During the night, there will be a general change in the Himalayan region including Koshi region, while it is expected that there will be a partial change in the hilly region. In the Terai region, the weather will be mostly clear. It is said that there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki regions and one or two places in other Himalayan regions.
