Kathmandu. At present, there is a combined effect of westerly winds, local winds and a low pressure system near the eastern part of the country in Nepal. Due to this, light rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in a couple of places in Koshi and Bagmati provinces. Although it is partly cloudy in Madhesh province, the weather is mostly clear in the rest of the Terai region.

In the afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and the rest of the Himalayan and hilly areas, while it is likely to be partly cloudy in the plains.
