'Chakre Milan' was acquitted by the Supreme Court in the money laundering case
Kathmandu. The Supreme Court acquitted Milan Gurung 'Chakre Milan', known as gangster Nike, in the much talked about money laundering case. The joint bench of Justices Abdul Aziz Muslim and Meghraj Pokharel on Thursday dismissed the appeal petition filed by the government challenging the acquittal decision of the special court in favor of Gurung and upheld the special decision.
The government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court on June 30, 2075 claiming that the decision of the special court was flawed. This final decision came from the Supreme Court eight years after the appeal was filed.
