Kathmandu. On the occasion of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, Navratri of Chaitra Dashain is starting from today. On the occasion of Chaitra Navratri, Goddess Navadurga is being ritually worshiped today at the palace of Hanumandho. Laxman Panthi, executive director of Nepal Panchang Adjudicatory Development Committee informed that 7:51 a.m. is the best time for the celebration of Chaitra Navratri. He also said that the time has been given to return to the North today and make repairs.

On this occasion, there is a queue of devotees for worship and worship in Devi temples and Shaktipeeth all over the country. According to the classical rules, there are four Navratras in a year. Four Navratras are celebrated in a year as Asar Shukla Paksha, Asoj Shukla Paksha, Pus Shukla Paksha and Magha Shukla Paksha. In Nepali tradition, Navratri of Asar and Pus Shukla Paksha is also known as Lupta Navratri.
