Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has said that caste discrimination is a serious crime against social, moral and human dignity. On the occasion of the Eradication of Racial Discrimination and Untouchability Day on Thursday, the President said that the Constitution of Nepal has embraced the country's multi-racial, multilingual, multi-religious, multicultural and geographical diversity as a special identity of the nation.

"In the constitution of Nepal, it has been decided to build an egalitarian society based on the principle of proportional inclusion and participation, to ensure economic equality, prosperity and social justice, and to protect and promote unity, socio-cultural unity, tolerance and harmony among diversity by adopting multi-racial, multilingual, multi-religious, multicultural and geographically diverse features, and by ending all kinds of discrimination, ethnic, regional, linguistic, religious, gender and social justice," said the greeting message. is
