Candidate recommendation in UML is intense, single name in 24 constituencies
Kathmandu- CPN-UML has accelerated the process of recommending candidates for the House of Representatives elections to be held on February 21. According to the instructions of the center, the district and regional committees are sending recommendations.
According to UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet, a single name has been recommended from 24 constituencies so far. Leaders like KP Sharma Oli from Jhapa-5, Vishnu Paudel from Rupandehi-2, Shankar Pokharel from Dang-2 have been singled out. In some districts, more than one aspirant's name has been sent. After receiving all the recommendations, the party center will make the final decision on the candidate, UML said.
