Cancel the contract of the builder who does not work on time

Kathmandu. The Khajura rural municipality of Banke has canceled the contract of the builder who did not complete the project on time. Dil Bahadur Paudel, Chief Administrative Officer of Khajura Rural Municipality, informed that the progress of the construction work was not satisfactory, there was no improvement even after a long time and the builders were not progressing towards the completion of the work.

According to him, all the five contract agreements made with Aman Construction, Gularia-5, Bardia for the planning work in different wards of the rural municipality have been cancelled. A contract agreement was signed with Aman Construction, Gularia-5, Bardia on 12th February 2077 to cover about 500 meters of road in Khajura rural municipality-4 Fgaon. Although the company signed an agreement to complete the construction work by 30th June 2078, the work has not been completed yet.
