CAN has released a busy calendar for the year
Kathmandu. Nepal Cricket Association CAN has released a detailed annual calendar for 2026 full of cricket activities. At the recently held press conference, CAN has announced the schedule of national, regional and international competitions for men, women and youth.
This year, CAN has set the main goal of strengthening the domestic structure and increasing the competitiveness of the Nepali team at the international level. Men's National A Division Cup and National School Championship will be held in March and April as part of the domestic competition. According to CAN, these competitions will be started from district and state level. Similarly, Jai Trophy, YY Men's National Cricket, Women's A Division Cup and the first ever Women's Long Format Long Distance Tournament will also be conducted throughout the year.
Giving priority to youth cricket, CAN has planned to conduct level 1 and 2 coaching, pitch curator and umpiring courses along with CAN Youth Cup. The much awaited Nepal Premier League NPL has also been continued in the 2026 calendar.
